Dr. Twentyman received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He served on the faculties of several universities, including the State University of New York, the University of Rochester, Central Michigan University, and the University of Hawaii. Dr. Twentyman is the author of over fifty clinical and scientific papers and won a National Institute of Health five-year award to study the epidemiology of coronary disease in local men of Japanese ancestry. He is a certified substance abuse councelor and an acupuncture detoxification specialist; currently, he is also studying for licensure in oriental medicine and is an acupuncture intern. Dr. Twentyman is one of the vice presidents of the Institute of BioEnergetic Medicine.
