| The Voll-Lam School of BioEnergetic Medicine was devised to be one of the country's preeminent institutions in education and research in the field of energy medicine. The breadth and depth of its scientific and clinical disciplines are incomparable. The School has prominent faculty and is affiliated with Lam Clinic and the American Association of Acupuncture and Bio-Energetic Medicine.
At the core of the School are its training and research curricula. The initial program was designed to promote the investigation into bioenergetic testing, to discuss new information and techniques being introduced in the field, and to support networking among practitioners.
One of the main goals of this program is to establish a standard of qualifications and guidelines for the use of the Dermatron in the area of bioenergetic testing. Electrodermal Screening Test (EDST) is a unique technique and has great depth. There is an important theoretical component that must be studied. However, there are levels of experience and skills that take hands-on to be acquired. Therefore, the program establishes a holistic multilevel approach to equip our students.
The development of EDST has come from several distinct sources such as Dr. Voll who invented the EAV and medicine testing, homeopathy, traditional Chinese acupuncture, and the study of mesenchyme as well as biophysics and electronics.
